Participants will get a rare chance to have their portfolio seen and reviewed by one of the most iconic photographers of our time. Born in 1936 in Munich, Thomas Hoepker has travelled the world as a photojournalist, capturing stories of people and social issues in the last 60 years. With his photography, he has helped shape a photographic genre that represents humanity and embraces the concerns of the underprivileged. He has been a full member of the prestigious Magnum Photos since 1989, and served as its president from 2003 to 2006. Don't miss this rare opportunity to consult the advice of one of the most prolific photographers of our time.
Participants will be presented with Thomas Hoepker's book "Wanderlust", specially signed by the artist with a personally written dedication.

ABOUT THOMAS HOEPKER
Hoepker became a full member of Magnum in 1989. Specializing in reportage and stylish color features, he received the prestigious Kulturpreis of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Photographie in 1968. He was president of Magnum Photos from 2003 to 2006. A retrospective exhibition, showing 230 images from fifty years of work, toured Germany and other parts of Europe in 2007. Hoepker has published over 30 books and his photographs have been shown in many museums and galleries. He now lives in New York and in Southampton, Long Island. bit.ly/leica-hoepker-magnum
