Time-Lapse Photography is a filmmaking technique where a scene or event that would normally take several minutes, days, or even months to complete, is captured in designated timed intervals and combined into a sequence of just a few seconds.

Time-lapse photography has a long history and the first film known to be produced with this technique dates back to 1897.

The technique has been famously used to photograph blossoming flowers, sunrise, changing landscapes, construction sites, and rolling fog, amongst others

In this full-day workshop, participants will learn to conceptualise, prepare, shoot and edit their images into a unique time-lapse short film within a day.

Recommended for those who want to learn an alternative filmmaking technique that can be used to produce stunning short films anywhere.
